Observations

Have you ever noticed, or is it just me? :

The more you think of & serve others, the better you feel about yourself - but the more you think of yourself, the worse you think of others?

Even though you have every Christmas special on tape/DVD that you can watch at any time, it seems so much more special when it's aired on tv?

That Joe on Blue's Clues looks like he could be Jay Leno's nephew?

All year long you think, 'oh, I need that' - or - 'I would really enjoy this' - but when your husband asks for a Christmas list, you can't think of a thing?

Why does salad taste so much better if someone else makes it?

How is it that people will talk about how much they hate the commercialness of Christmas and complain that people have forgotten the true meaning of the holiday - but if you ask where they'll be going for Christmas Eve service or talk about Jesus in general, they can't get away fast enough? And the 'true' meaning to you is?....

The more 'toadish' your children have been all day, the sweeter the little angles look asleep..

Why are radio stations playing stranger and stranger songs as "Christmas music"? Is it the need to find more material to fill the air ways due to the month and a half of just holiday songs? I mean really - Dan Fogelberg's "Same Old Lang Syne"???? It takes place at Christmas time - but has Nothing to do with Christmas... it's a stretch to say the least - and sandwiched in between 'Sleigh Ride' and 'Joy To The World".. it just doesn't fit!

OK - one negative - Why is it the nicer you try to be, the harder you try, the less that things work out and people want to take advantage and take - take - take and make you feel like you are wrong for not being willingly had?!
